We met as electrical engineering undergrads at UT-Austin, when we happened to be in Digital Logic Design, Circuit Theory, and Matrices together our sophomore year.  What happened?  Absolutely nothing... until two years later when we ended up on the same senior design team.  We planned a Pokemon Go outing as our first team hangout, but our other teammates bailed at the last minute and we were stuck walking with just the two of us!  It was the best walk ever!  It lasted five hours, and we found that we had so much more than just electrical engineering classes in common- we shared a passion for music, the outdoors, golf, card games, not to mention Pokemon...  We've gone on so many adventures together in the year since then!  We backpacked down and up the Grand Canyon, scrambled through cacti in Saguaro National Park, skied in Montana, boogie boarded in Galveston, dined at the original Culver's in Wisconsin, scaled the Manitou Incline in Colorado Springs, and visited the Great Lakes.  Our one rule?  We drive everywhere we go!  We love road trips - and singing along to Billy Joel and ABBA on the way!  Next year, we will both be starting our PhDs in Electrical Engineering at UT-Austin.  We are so excited about our future together, and we can't wait to see what it has in store for us!
